Late discussions find consensus for the following:

Tri-Tip Roast on BBQ with roasted little taters and asparagus.

BBQ Pork Chops, braised cabbage and acorn squash.

Let the feasting begin . . .

Saturday: Grilled pork loin chops with cinnamon acorn squash, braised cabbage and carrots sauteed in cinnamon and apple juice .

SATURDAY BONUS: Eating this as I enter it here . . . Poached eggs over English muffins with sliced ham, cheddar sprinkles and asparagus spears.

Verna also found a Del Conte’s Garlic Bread recipe. Garlic bread would go well with Chicken Cacciatore, we decided.

We also decided that we could have another steak weekend since jambalaya is more for cool weather.

Saturday: Chicken Cacciatore with Del Conte’s Cheese bread.
